Shield of Sparrows Book Review

From the first line to the last, I was hooked and I did not care whether I ate or slept.  The world building, magic system, and of course, the character reveals along the way kept me reading straight through to the end before I even realized I was there.

The Primal of Blood and Bone Book Review

“The Primal of Blood and Bone” by Jennifer L. Armentrout took me on a wonderful ride I thought I was thoroughly prepared for and yet it still had me undone at the end.

What makes the genre so special to me is that it offers the escapism and adventure I crave and enjoy so much.  After a long day at my 9 to 5 job, I can’t wait to get home, put on my cozy pajamas, and cuddle with my dogs under blankets and read.
